British Museum conservation and investigation
British Museum staff have been carefully conserving each object from the initial hoard. The necklace and one of the brooches have been completed (see pictures). The votive plaques have been carefully x-rayed, separated, cleaned, conserved and photographed. This has revealed a total of eleven inscriptions (an exceptional archive of Romano-British religious dedications).
Conservation is continuing but the bulk of the hoard objects can be seen at the British Museum in Room 49 (The Weston Gallery of Roman Britain).
